Keeney Finalist for Teaching Award

Oct. 7, 2009 - For the third time in four years, Keeney is a finalist for a Minnesota Tekne Innovation in Teaching Award, given annually by the Minnesota High Tech Association to an industrial technology teacher who excels at integrating technology in the classroom.

Fabcon is Tekne Award finalist

SAVAGE PACE Oct. 2, 2009 - The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) has named Fabcon, a precast concrete company in Savage, as a finalist in the “Innovative Collaboration of the Year” category for the 2009 Tekne Awards.

Weaver Lake instructor named as finalist for Tekne Awards

The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) has named Osseo Area Schools teacher Laurie Toll one of three finalists in the Innovation in Teaching (K-12) category for the 2009 Tekne Awards. The Tekne Awards recognize Minnesota companies and individuals who have shown superior technology innovation and leadership.

2009 Tekne Finalists

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 9, 2009 — The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA), in partnership with LifeScience Alley and Enterprise Minnesota, today announced finalists for the tenth annual Tekne Awards. The Tekne Awards honor companies and individuals who have shown superior technology innovation and leadership in Minnesota.

2008 Tekne Awards Ceremony

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 31, 2008 – The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA), in partnership with Enterprise Minnesota and LifeScience Alley, celebrated Minnesota’s status as a hub for technology innovation with the 2008 Tekne Awards last night at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Minnesota Science & Technology Hall of Fame

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 22, 2008 — The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) and the Science Museum of Minnesota have teamed up to found the Minnesota Science and Technology Hall of Fame. The first class of inductees will be honored Thursday, Oct. 30 at the ninth annual Tekne Awards ceremony, MHTA and the Science Museum announced today.
